MACON, Georgia- Wesleyan College Nancy Ellis Knox Equestrian Center had a fantastic Spring Schooling Show on Saturday. 190 riders entered the ring to be judged.
Said Head Equestrian Coach, Catherine Texter Baker, "This is one of the biggest shows in recent years. Our parking lot was full of trailers with horses and ponies from Bonaire, Statesboro, Americus, Byron, Metter, Cobbtown, Ft. Valley, Cobb, Oglethorpe, Andersonville, Vienna and other local barns in our area. The Wesleyan Equestrian Team had a special Hobby Horse Class where they competed in their own created costume and 'horse.' They were judged at the Walk, Trot and Canter and over a small jump. This was a FUNdraiser for the team and team members collected sponsorship for this special class. We will announce the winner of the gift basket soon - if you sponsored a team member you could be our winner."
