Wesleyan Tennis Falls to Huntingdon in Conference Opener

Saturday, February 25, 2017

Macon, GA - The Wesleyan College tennis team opened USA South conference play on Saturday afternoon, falling to Huntingdon 9-0.

"We came out a bit flat in our doubles play for our first conference match against Huntingdon, but we rebounded in a big way during our singles competitions," remarked Wesleyan head coach Alex Kosicki. "The focus and determination it took to regroup was admirable. Our ladies held each other to a higher standard than most, and I couldn't be more happy to be coaching this team. There will be bumps in the road to success, but our ladies are taking them in stride and are improving exponentially because of it. With a few weeks off to harness those improvements, we are heading in a great direction."
