Macon, GA -  Wesleyan College sophomore Cat Pribbenow scored her first goal of the season in a double overtime 1-1 tie against LaGrange College on Saturday afternoon. Pribbenow scored in the 33rd minute of action from the top of the box on a pass from junior Katie Tanner.

Notables:

  • The Wolves took the season series over LaGrange, having defeated the Panthers earlier this season.
  • Freshman Carlee Dykes played the entire match in goal and recorded three saves.
  • Eight Wesleyan athletes played all 120 minutes of the match.

Quotable:

Wesleyan head soccer coach Paige Hightower stated, "Despite outplaying LaGrange, we lost our concentration for a few minutes at the end of the match and let them tie it up. We held them to shooting easy balls from outside the 18, while we had several chances inside their 18 but just couldn't find the back of the net again."

"Q Brandon played a brilliant game, attacking from the back, while Katie Tanner and Whitney Flanter dominated the midfield and really helped us play more of a possession-based game today."
