Maryville, TN - Maryville College used a consistent offensive attack to take advantage of a short-handed Wesleyan soccer team in Saturday afternoon's 4-0 win over the Wolves.

Notables:

  • Eight Wesleyan players recorded a full 90 minutes on the field vs. Maryville.
  • Alyssa Whitford recorded 16 more saves in goal for the Wolves on Saturday afternoon.

Quotable:

"Our team tried to make more of an offensive statement today, but in doing so, our usually strong defense completely fell apart," stated Wesleyan head coach Paige Hightower. "I hope we can learn from this game and go into next week's competition stronger and ready to play."
