Macon, GA - Senior Justice Thigpen saved her best performance of the season for her final outing as a Wesleyan College basketball player, recording a monster triple double and helping to lead the Wolves to a 83-54 win over Toccoa Falls College on Thursday night. She finished the game with 11 points, 15 rebounds, and 13 assists.

Notables:

  • Thigpen wasn't the only Wolves player to post big numbers on the night, as freshman Bree Raymond notched her third double double of the year with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
  • Fellow seniors Alyssa Whitford and Taylor Hauser wrapped up their playing careers on a high note as well, scoring 13 and eight points, respectively.
  • Wesleyan shot 40% from the floor while holding Toccoa Falls to 31% shooting, and they forced the Eagles into 26 turnovers while picking up 18 steals, led by Justice Thigpen's six.

Quotable:

"What a way to end our season on a high note," remarked Wesleyan head coach Nicky DiMarzio. "We had contributions on both ends of the court from everyone tonight. We celebrated our seniors last game in Porter as Wolves, and Justice once again led the way with a triple double. Alyssa had a great game, and Taylor Hauser stretched the defense with her outside shooting. And of course, Jacy Lin was invaluable on the sidelines for me and for the team this season. We will thoroughly miss these seniors and this was a great way to go out, having had our best offensive performance of the year."
